Smooth segment rings work in the same way as a BCR except they have a curved segment instead of a ball. This gives you a smoother look and allows you to rotate the ring through your piercing.

absolutly gr8 it was a bit fiddly at first but once it was in theres no way its coming out this is ideal for nipples because you don thave the touble of the bcr'sball catching on things

I absolutely love these rings. They are a pain to get in, so much so that I never take mine out, but I have never had a segment pop out like with ball closures. They are very comfortable and look soooo much better, especially in the lip, nothing to get in the way and make me dribble my tea.

I find segment rings so much easier to put in and in my opinion, they are nicer looking than BCRs. This one is a good colour, it doesn't stand out too much and looks good pretty much anywhere it can go :)

At first I found this fiddly to fit the small bit in so it linked, but now im used to it i have got the knack of finding the right angle to get it in.
I use this for my nose and it feels really comfotable and secure. There is no way this is comming out.

i bout 2 8mm ones for my ears but found that they were too small, so if you do buy then to put in your ears then make sure that they fit, should be alrite tho as im guna get my lip pierced soon anyways so s'all good (Y)
however i did find the segment quite hard to put back into place once i had taken them out =/

got this in the post today with my silicone eyelets and had to try it out as well, felt great in my lip it was easy to get in and it moved through my piercing easily, very smooth

i love these! i have one for my lip and it's really comfortable, although i do prefer circular barbels.
i might get one for my septum piercing because they are just so comfy!

The unbroken shape makes these the most comfortable jewellery you can wear in your lip and the captive is held much firmer than in a BCR. Mine has never fallen out of it's own accord, not even in a punch-up.
Aside from the odd job interview, I don't take mine out.
