Purchased this product for work (health-field/LPN); and facial piercings aren't allowed.
Pro's: Looks just like a real beauty-mark.
Con's: it's a little shiny at first; giving it a plastic look (understandably as it is a plastic-item; but shininess does go away, after a week or two)
End result: happy with purchase & will make future purchases!

I ordered this product because I wanted to keep my piercing but thought it was unprofessional in my field of work. It's perfect super tiny looks just like a mole. I can't feel it at all I forget I have it on. I live in Texas and it took me 10 days to get it counting the day I ordered it. I am very happy and will probably purchase more since I am great at losing my monroe jewelry. Thanks a ton for making thisproduct!

I am African American and this is the perfect retainer for my skin tone. It is much less noticeable than the clear retainers. I just ordered more.

I just got this yesterday and as soon as I got the package I had to put it in right away in my "Madonna" piercing. The disc is very tiny and I had a lot of trouble getting it in and even dropped it once. My tip to anyone who orders this is to put the disc in before slipping the stud inside your hole and just slip the whole thing together from the inside...that's what I did and it was much easier and didn't hurt at all. Now in my opinion, I can totally tell it's a retainer and I would think others could tell the difference as well, but who knows? I ordered the 1.2 mm x 16 gauge and it was perfect, doesn't stick out at all. All together though, I love it and the idea of what it's supposed to look like. I've wanted once ever since a friend of mine said a girl she saw that had one.

most excellent (07 June 2011)

so excellent - I work at a 5-star facility/establishment as such it is really important to not have any body jewelry/facial piercings. I was lamenting having to take out my lip piercing but really happy that this really does pass of as a mole unless you're really close up.

Additionally, I actually like it better than my metal jewelry because it's comfortable, light-weight, doesn't click against my teeth and the insert can be easily exchanged for others.

Good buy and fast shipping! Very satisfied.

i just got this in the mail and put it on. I LOVEEEE how it feels like everyone said (and i had to see for myself) you forget its there, no weight what so ever. i can always feel my regular labret in my monroe piercing. but this is amazing. i have 2 touch and make sure its still there.

im still trying to figure out the perfect lenth still. i got the 6mm and i guess since my piercing is faily new its still a bit swollen and the 6mm fits a little tight.. i dunno im diff gonna order the next 2 longer sizes to find the right size.

A must have for anyone with a lip piercing - so comfortable you forget it's there.
No more clinking against your ivories when you talk.

This combo is value for money but I suggest you but a couple - the mole is secure but can come off if you fiddle and if you then accidentally chew the bar it's becomes unusable lol!
