A male pubic piercing is a surface piercing located at the point where the top of the penis joins the body, travelling horizontally. Male pubic piercings are not usually placed on the shaft of the penis but right at the base of the penis. Individual anatomy will affect this piercing so placement may have to vary slightly.
Barbells and surface bars can be worn in a male pubic piercing, depending on your anatomy and placement. This piercing can be irritated by underwear and start to reject, so it should be monitored for signs of rejection. We recommend wearing unrestrictive underwear and abstaining from sexual activity until the piercing is fully healed. Clean with mild soap and water or saline solution daily and avoid swimming or submersion in water until healed, taking showers rather than baths.
Male Pubic Piercing Healing Time: 2 to 12 weeks
