Snug piercings are pierced through the ridge of inner cartilage in the outer rim of the ear, just above the anti-tragus. This piercing is usually quite shallow and should only be done if there is enough space on the ear.
Snug piercings usually BCRs and curved barbells, although curved barbells are recommended as initial jewellery. This is because BCRs move around more, which can irritate the piercing. Micro jewellery is often used due to the compact nature of the area. This piercing should be cleaned at least twice daily with saline solution. Avoid swimming and submersion in water until healed.
Snug Piercing Healing Time: 8 to 16 weeks
