One of the most common piercings on the planet, ear lobe piercings can be placed anywhere in the main part of the lobe. The size and shape of the ear lobe will often dictate where the piercing is placed. If the intention is to stretch an ear lobe piercing it should ideally be pierced in the exact centre of the lobe, with plenty of flesh below and on either side of the piercing.
Barbells, labret studs, BCRs, circular barbells and even bananabells can be worn in ear lobe piercings. The ear lobe receives a good blood flow and usually heals quickly. This piercing should be cleaned at least twice daily with saline solution. Avoid swimming and submersion in water until healed.
Ear Lobe Piercing Healing Time: 6 to 10 weeks
