You must be 18 yrs old, with photo ID, to get a tattoo. No exceptions. For piercings you must be 16 yrs old, with photo ID - under 16s must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian with photo ID.

Perfect!
I was reccomended this place by a friend who had both of her tattoos done. I had three stars tattoed on my right inner forearm- and they were absolutely perfect. The staff were really friendly, the price was brilliant and everything was clean and relaxing. Wouldn't go anywhere else for a tattoo now.

Hip Piercing
I just had my hip surface pierced here, the staff were friendly and very professional. I would definitely recommend Studio XIII and continue using their service :)

I've had numerous piercings done here and Kate does a great job every time. With almost every straight forward piercing being £20, you can't ask for me and nor do you need to ask for more. I definitely woudn't go anywhere else in Edinburgh for piercings OR tattoos.

I've had a couple of piercings here, and more recently, had a microdermal near my navel. The place is very clean and professional. really could not fault it. The staff are amazing, and know exactly what they're doing. Thank you!

Welcoming and securing
The young woman whose name I forget (the black haired lady) did my lowbret microdermals, checked I knew about permanence and didn't just want lowbrets, Made everything ready while I waited upstairs. Was called down to a large, clean looking room, walked to a big comfy dentist/barber type chair and spent about 20 minutes making sure the placement was perfect. Said if she'd done one and I wanted to leave it at that it was fine. Did the first one, let me check it etc, made sure I had time to recover if necessary, did second one, checked, cleaned, gave me a drink, fixed slight lean of left microdermal, let me look again and dressed it. She had forgotten to take photos so asked me to come in in a few weeks and/or email photos for the website. I had a minor staff audience (which they asked if I minded) too hehe. Friendly, Helpful, clean, lovely :) Would definitely go back.
