I got my nose pierced here last September...they pierced me with a gun instead of a needle, which I now know is bad :/ It still hasnt healed either!! It got infected after getting it done and now it looks red still. I cant get the bar out either, the back is too thick to get through the hole! Urgh!Posted by: Jenny
I went to Ink vs Steel, in the Merrion Centre (where Pro Piercing moved to) to get my inner conch pierced, and found the service very professional. The studio was clean, with books to look through of tattoos, though none for piercing. There was no price list, and while I originally went in to ask about the cost, I ended up coming away with a piercing! The piercer was very friendly and helpful; after the piercing, I felt lightheaded, as it was one of the warmest days of the year and I hadn't eaten much, but the piercer made me lie down until I felt better and talked to me the whole time. I didn't feel rushed to leave even though there was only one man working that day and other customers. I felt much more comfortable in there than in any other studios I'd been to in the city (just to ask about prices - my other piercings were done in Durham). The piercing has healed amazingly well - better than any of my others. I would definitely recommend the studio for piercing, and on the testimony of friends, for tattooing as well.Posted by: Ink vs Steel

Pro Body hasn't closed as such, they've moved up to the Merrion Centre where Out Of Step is now and changed their name to Ink Vs Steel, it's still the same people though. I'd definately recommend them for tattoo's (I've had all four of mine there) but not for piercing at allPosted by: Nat
Last time I went past, this studio had closed down!Posted by: Chumley
I got my second lip piercing here, the women how pierced me did an amazing job of getting it to look symmetrical and it healed brilliantly.Posted by: k_s
I had my first piercing at Pro when I was 12. Just your basic cartilage piercing whilst I was shopping for school stuff with my Dad. They asked for ID and everything and showed me it was a new needle and everything. She did it and told me aftercare instructions. I had to take it out thought because I couldn't sleep on it! =( Anyway for my 15th birthday I went back to get my eyebrow and lip pierced. They did the same again with new needles only this time my Dad didn't have to sign any forms. They were professional asking me to check the placement and everything. However the latest time I went in to get my navel pierced it was the same woman but I was on my own and she didn't ID me. It went OK but as she was willing to pierce my tongue even though I said I hadn't thought about it much, had no ID ( I'm only 15 but do look older) and wasn't with an adult it put me off a bit. I would recommend pro to anyone unless you were getting a piercing which required you to change the bar after swelling because at Pro you have to pay for the second bar as well.Posted by: Xx__Aimz__xX
