As stated, the heart in the middle is a double sided ball. It's a really nice, different bar and looks great in. The only issue was that it wasn't the easiest to actually screw each side to the heart but once in it feels comfortable and looks great.

Got delivered quickly and packaged properly!
Was really excited to get it in my ear, I initially thought that the point and the end of the arrow were balls, but the heart in the middle is a double ended ball. Quite easy to put in, fits perfectly, really pretty and elegant.
Only down side is when I pushed my hair back I caught my thumb on the top of the arrow and actually hurt and pierced my skin! But obviously I am quite clumsy and not quite used to it yet.
