Screw in ball rings are the cousins of Ball Closure Rings. Instead of a clip in ball, these have an externally threaded ball which screws on and off. This makes it very easy to fit.
They come in larger gauges only, starting at 4mm.

If you have lots of trouble putting in bcrs all the time then these are for you. They take that difficulty away because you just screw the ball in like any other piece of jewellery, but it still looks like a ring. They are really easy to clean and look after, and you won’t have the trouble of the ball popping out accidentally like bcrs do sometimes. This is probably the one thing I buy the most of, and the really big sizes are perfect for my stretched ears too.
