Stars ain't so tasty. (By thunderbolt - 7 Oct, 2008)

These ikon balls look great on external and internal piercings, enticing onlookers to ask questions about your piercings.

However, from personal experience I would mainly recommend them for external piercings only.

I had two of these balls on the upper stems of my tongue venoms and they looked great for about two weeks. Unfortunately, the powerful enzymes in my saliva soon destroyed the glue holding the stars in, and I woke up one morning minus both the stars, having swallowed them in my sleep.

Swallowing them isn't detrimental to you; it's just disappointing.

I would recommend them for external use, or occasional internal use:)
