Stretching Tapers

Tapered Insertions pins allow you to stretch your piercing up one size at a time. At one end the tapered insertion pin is slightly larger than the size of the intended jewellery, at the other end the tapered insertion pin is a size smaller. The new jewellery slots into the larger end.
Pushing the pin slowly through the piercing will stretch it up to the desired size. When the tapered insertion pin is all the way through, the jewellery will follow and slide into the piercing.
It's important to only stretch your piercing up one size at a time, and to leave around 2 weeks between each stretching to avoid tearing the flesh.

316L Surgical Stainless Steel Tapered Insertion Pins.

The insertion pins are used to stretch up a piercing one size at a time - i.e. - if you wanted to stretch from a 1.6mm to 2.4mm, then you would need a 2.4mm pin. The 2.4mm pin starts at 1.6mm and gradually increases in size to a 2.4mm.

To use the pin, you will need to lubricate it (substances such as Savlon, Liquid Soap, Vitamin-E oil are recommended) and push it slowly through your piercing.

Once the pin is almost all the way through the piercing you put the jewellery on the end of the pin, and push it though. The pin will then come out of the piercing and the jewellery will be in.

It is recommended to wait at least 3 weeks in between each stretch.

Just stretched from 6mm to 7mm using one of these pins like i've done from 3.2mm upwards. Very easy to use and found them very helpful. Can strongly recomend them.

...very easly with this item (from 7mm to 8mm). Fantastic! It took 2 minutes without any pain. Only problem-i had to order some new jewellery... The next time it will be my nipple.

These pins are very reliable. My ears where at 6mms and i didnt like the plastic tapers i was using so i ordered a few of these and felt the difference straight away.

I've used these pins to gradually stretch my ears from 0.5 mm to 5mm, quite easy to use, though I found it better to buy a size larger than the intended jewellery, the plug/tunnel fit's a lot better in the end. I would also recommend vitamin E oil as a really good lubricant.

I love these things, easy to use and easy to get your new tunnels in after the stretch. quick and painless. They are just expensive if you want to stretch from 1.6mm all the way up to 10mm. But otherwise great.
