I had purchased this because I'd recently gotten my septum done, and little did I know that you could actually see the shiny circular barbell in my nose until my mother asked "what on earth is that?!" Fortunately, she's less conservative than the rest of my family, but it prompted me to find another solution fast, before thanksgiving. I happened upon this site, and found this keeper, and have loved it since the day it came in the mail! It's easy to put in, and you can't tell at all that it's pierced! Now I can get through those family gatherings with less anxiety knowing that I can still be myself, and they don't have to know about it!
(And the price was AMAZING!!! Keeps me coming back looking for new items to buy!)

I do think that U shaped retainers are the best for their job, and the blackline one is even better because you dont even get a little glimmer of silver up the nose. Also really comfy, and looks cute and subtle when worn down.

This is the best retainer I have ever come across. When flipped up they are invisible, but when flipped down they have a very nice look to them. Anyone with a septum piercing should have one of these :)

I am currently wearing a 10g blackline retainer in my septum, and it is definitely the comfiest thing I've ever shoved in my nose. I've worn other retainers that are wider, but this fits nice and snug and I don't worry about it falling out.

When it's flipped up, it is completely hidden. Maybe it's just the shape of my nose, or the way it was pierced, but nobody at all can see the retainer unless I show it to them. I would definitely recommend these retainers if you already have your septum pierced, or if you are thinking about it.
