The best and only thing you should use for a healing piercing (By akua - 2 Jun, 2005)

I thank the Body Jewellery Shop for stocking this ready made saline solution. Compared to the sea salt soaks I used to make, this has proved to be gentle on my piercing not causing it any irritation when applied and after I have cleaned my navel piercing with it, my piercing feels clean, soothed and refreshed!!

I never used to bother with this, but ever since swtiching from normal salt water soaks, I really recommend that anyone with a healing piercing have saline solution - it's the key to quick healing. Also, it's ideal for all skin types and doesn't irritate the wound, unlike salt water can if you have the wrong ratio of salt to water. A really great advantage is that you can take this and use it absolutely anywhere...at any time. I would definately recommend getting some for quicker and better healing, and even reducing chances of infection and rejection etc..
