I am 18, and after getting a new job that looked down on facial piercings, I decided to give these a try. I recently recieved mine, and I must say they work very well. They are comfortable and hardly noticible, making them perfect for work and school. I would suggest using a stud with a screw on end for sleeping though, as I have lost the o-rings for both of mine due to rubbing against my pillow while sleeping. Up until I lost the o-ring I had no problem with them coming out during eating. They stay in very well and I would suggest them to anyone who might need to conceal their piercing.

Labret retainer (By tdiddy - 2 Nov, 2005)

I received my retainers this morning all was well. I popped them in and went off to work. Everything was fine until I started to eat my sandwich and ping I have just bitten the Labret retainer in half. So I am now ordering another one and will not eat with it in next time. Maybe they can be made a bit tougher. I must say that the speed of delivery is fantastic and I do recommend using this site.

Im nearly 16 n im still at school. As soon as i had my lip pierced i knew i wud have to take it out for school and work. So i brought a labret retainer, its small and fits inside the piering comfortably. When worn it can hardly be seen!
If you have youre lip pierced i would definately recomend this retainer, it keeps the piercing open while not being seen!!

I purchased a labret retainer when having started a new job where piercings were completely forbidden and I must admit I was sceptical at first, and thought chances are it will still be too noticeable and I’d have to take the piercing out completely. Luckily the retainer was just the perfect solution and was hardly noticeable at all, and was also comfortable to wear. So instead of taking your piercing out for any reason I would really recommend trying this product first.
