I was having major problems with one of the cartilage piercings on my ear, it seemed to become reinfected every few weeks or so, so I purchased this solution to see if it made any difference. It had a slightly sterile smell about it, and the gel was soft and easy to apply with a cotton pad. Its easy to remove and since I've been using it a couple of times a week, all my problems have disappeared :) Highly recommended!

This product is easy to use and not messy like some cleansers can be. It is good for irritated or sore piercings and has a clean, fresh smell. I also use it to wash my hands with prior to doing a SSS. My only negative point is that it's a tad pricey compared to say the saline solution.

The word "gel" normally implies a thick, gooey substance. Instead, this product is a thin-ish white foamy gel. I love this product for travel, as the bottle is small and light (and can, indeed must, be taken on a plane as hand luggage). It's also great if you don't have time to do a proper clean and rinse.

The cleaning is a little harsh for brand new piercings so wait until the third week or so to use this. However, the cleaning itself is top-notch, the pierced area feels soft and non-sticky afterwards and the cool bottle means there is little spillage.

With other clensers, I've never felt properly clean.

This is the ONLY product I use on piercings, it loosens up crustiness and clearns away any debris and dirt to leave your pierced area clean and tidy.

PLUS it doesn't dry your piercing out which is fantastic.
