Here is a selection of tools that can be used to stretch your piercing up. Some tools are used to stretch one size at a time, whilst others have several sizes in one. It's important to only stretch your piercing up one size at a time and to leave at least 2 weeks between each stretch to avoid tearing the flesh. Some jewellery can be left in and gradually pushed along to stretch the piercing over a longer period of time.

Tapered Insertions pins allow you to stretch your piercing up one size at a time. At one end the tapered insertion pin is a groove where your jewellery can be rested into, helping with the follow-through of the jewellery. Stretching a piercing is a gradual process that will last months, sometimes years depending on how large you decide to stretch. It's important to change your gauge gradually, allowing ample healing time between sizes (normally a minimum of 3-4 weeks).

	i bought this to do my final stretch up to a 10mm, i had previously used the steel crescents. i found the buffalo horn a little more difficult to use compared to the steel, as i felt that during healing the horn tended to stick and as you are ment to turn the jewelary this made my healing time longer than normal. however once healed i had no problems what so ever and it does look great!!!!!! simple but effective. Rating:
