I bought two of these a while back when my Navels were having trouble healing with the steel ones the piercer had used in my navel and inverse navel. After a while of trying to thread them with the ball that came with them (I highly reccomend getting the threading tool for any bioplast adventures you may wish to have!) I didnt cut the bar down, as mine were quite angry and needed some space, so 15mm was a great length for the swelling. After a week or so the redness and any irritation and goopy stuff that was happening with both of my piercings, had completely gone. I was very pleased at how well my piercings had reacted to the material, and also I love the fact you get lots of different colours to play with!
All I have to do now is figure out how to remove the gems and change them, and im all set!
