I have a pair of these in at the moment, with a black spiral on either side, and have to say the contrast is great. They're very easy to use, to stretch with, pain free and don't fall out. For what they are they're amazing, and have never caused me any irritation, unlike some metal earrings.

I bought these in a 5mm and an 8mm, with the intention of wearing them a short while. I was fine with the 5mm spiral, but had problems with the 8mm. Going up around 2mm's in such a short space of time (a couple of weeks) is very unhealthy, but lack of funds and trying to find metal jewellery in 7mm is just a pain!

I survived though, and i find these spirals are much kinder to my ears than straight tapers, as they slide through and stop when they can't go further. You can feel the pull, whereas I know from past experience, you just keep pushing the straight tapers then end up with tears in the fistula.

I also prefer these as I can wear them whilst my ear settles down, rather than the straight ones which just cause more problems for me!

They're nicer in the smaller sizes, as i found the 8mm to be quite bulky to wear, which may have caused me the problems. All in all though, a good product!

bought these in 10mm and found them really easy to use and the spiral gradually gets bigger so you can gradually stretched it to the size you want.
really recommend them

You know, the ONLY bad thing about these, is that they don't do them in bigger sizes. I miss them, now that I'm at 14. They're cute, shiney, don't fall out and look good with everything. They're the best thing to stretch with.

I bought these in both a 4mm and a 3mm and I'm planning on buying them in a 6mm also, just because they're so lightweight and comfortable to wear.

(and they're like, super cheap!)
