P Piercing GlossaryAll glossary terms beggining with "P" are listed below.
PA (Reverse)The Reverse Prince Albert piercing is similar to the Prince Albert, but instead of exiting out of the base of the penis, it exits via the top of the glans. PadlocksPadlocks are novelty jewellery pieces designed in the shape of standard industrial padlocks. Available in materials such as surgical stainless steel, jewellery padlocks are safe to wear in body piercings. PalangThe Palang is a piercing made across the surface of the glans. It can be made either through the urethra, above or below it. PendantsA Pendant (from Old French) is a hanging object, generally attached to a necklace or an earring. PerformancePerformance Products are part of the performance range of tools and accessories specifically designed for performance artists in the body modification industry. Performance items includ hanging weights and hooks, often used on stage in body modification shows. Piercing RetainersPiercing Retainers are acrylic materials designed in the shape of body piercing jewellery, worn in place of metal body jewellery. Retainers come in many different shapes and sizes, specifically suited to different piercings such as labret studs, barbells, bananabells, curved barbells and nostril studs. Retainers are used to conceal piercings for different purposes, such as work, school or to replace metal materials for medical purposes including X-Rays or surgery. Piercing WeightsPiercing Weights are designed to be attached to piercings, such as earlobes and genital piercings to help stretch the flesh to a larger size over a long period of time. Pinna (Ear)The Pinna (or helix) piercing is located on the cartilage rim along the top part of the ear. Plain Flesh PlugsFlesh Plugs (also known as flesh tunnels, flesh tubes, earlets and eyelets) are designed to be worn in larger gauge stretched piercings, most commonly the earlobes. Flesh plugs can be hollow, solid, or anything in between and come in nearly every material used for body piercings. There are many different sizes, colours, materials and designs to choose from. Plug RetainersFlesh Plug Retainers (or hider plugs) are designed from silicone material, which is soft and flesh-like. Flesh plug retainers are worn in larger gauge stretched piercings, such as the earlobes, in place of other jewellery.
