I am vegetarian but mostly vegan if that makes sense :S I eat quorn products with friends occasionally. I don't eat raw cheese/milk/egg.
I try to avoid products tested on animals.
Really shocked about the Metal body jewellery containing animal fat :O Thanks for letting me know
I'm learning most shiny things are not veggie, because of shellac, on my coffee beans, etc. :(

out of interest why have the people who have posted decided to become Vegan? I am trying to eat less meat from an environmental / sustainability perspective (i also have my own hens so eat only free range eggs) but i enjoy all foods too much to stop altogether.

Bit of an oldish post, but if you want to know why i'm vegan, watch a documentary called Earthlings (it's on youtube!)
For me, it's an obvious choice (: Why would I want to support a sick, sad and pathetic industry... I lived on a smallholding (we kept rare breed animals/didn't use them for meat), there were lots of farms around us as well as a slaughterhouse. From a very young age I got to witness it all firsthand. I'll never go back to eating dairy or meat again.
hey, stay young, and invincible, because we know just who we are
Current: 14mm lobes, left nostril, septum
