Default What does tea tree oil do for lobes?

I was at cvs and rite aid looking for emu oil or joboba oil. I was disappointed and a bit frustrated when I found out they didn't have any and the employees weren't a lot of help. On a whim I bought tea tree oil cause I've heard about it and it was cheap and I didn't want it to be a pointless trip. What are the effects of tea tree oil on stretched lobes? thickening? :/
    Currently Have:

Tea tree oil's not really good for massaging. It's quite harsh, some people use it for getting rid of bumps and find that it helps a bit but even then it should really be diluted. I would imagine it'd just make your lobes dry

Dries them out and absolutely stinks?

It can strip paint, I'm definitely not rubbing it on my lobes Diluted or with very careful usage it can be good for bump-related problems, but it's not really a regular aftercare/massaging product.

Just get jojoba oil from BAF or something, easier haha.

It's good for drying out spots? Or treating your scalp if you have dreadlocks?
Never found any other use for it
