Default Tragus stud pulled through the hole

Hm..my tragus is doing something it shouldn't do..my disk went under while cleaning:
I cleaned crusties off with a Q-tip, the bump reddened:

more, could that be a boil and not hypertrophic?:

And when I bumped the jewelry with the Q-tip it sank:

Could it be that the hole stretched or grew larger? I think its unlikely...or is it just sinking into the bump? I did not pull it further to test if it comes out all the way and just put it back. Do you think I need to test it or a piercer for that matter? Is there another way of knowing?

I would like to go to a Piercer just the only one I have close by is not too knowledgeable..do you think he might still be able to see whats going on? Can't go to the city as of right now...would have to wait a few days. If its not wet it does not sink in at all but I guess that might have to come out.
Tragus is 7months old, was almost healed until a month ago.
PS: It does not hurt. But the tragus itself feels swollen.

In the 3rd/4th picture...is that with the disc still on it?! I'd go to a piercer and get the end changed to a bigger disc/ball. That's so weird that it's suddenly flared up like that.

The usual sea salt soaks + chamomile compresses until you can get to a piercer. I wouldn't both using q-tips or anything that might push it back down, try not to move the jewellery at all.

I think you need to get that looked at by a competent piercer, and have the disc/ball changed to something larger.

It is just me, or does it look like it has been pierced at a funny angle.. and too close to your head?

can you push the disc out of the bump or is it completly engulfed and stuck? but i agree with BRF get the disc changed to a larger size maybe 4mm as i think they look like 3mm discs as i have them in my tragus piercings now.

fucidin H cream will also get ride of hypertrophic scars thats what i used in the end after trying all other methods. but its perscription only.

i see where your coming from , it is a little strange the angle but that might be partly due to the bump on the front i guess, and it is pierced quite deep.

Has it always been swollen? Mine was pierced too close to my head (hit a nerve, half of my face hurt for two weeks), and even months later the swelling hadn't gone down at all - had to take it out. If it's only just swollen up, go and see a piercer. Are the last pictures definitely with the disc on?!

Yes the disk is one it and in the hole, or at least in the bump..although it went so far that it made me wonder how big that hole is..
I'm just soaking at the moment.

Here is what it looked like when it was nice:

Not sure if the angle is weird. But it si very close to my head, so far I have liked the angle though because you can see the disk if you look at my ear from a frontal to sideways angle...most angles show the disk nicely you know?

I can not go far before the 15th, but I will have it looked at by a piercer in the city then.

No its not stuck at all, immedietaly after taking the picture I pulled it out, the post is pretty long, its not tight. I think that not even a 3mm disk on an 18g piercing should just go through the hole if their has never been any pressure or ebedding? I mean the hole does not just grow right?

Yes, actually it has always been swollen, same with the fwd helix I got at the same place, it feels healed now but is thick...*shrug*
And yes the last two pictures definetly have a disk on.

I will take a picture of it today in a moment..

PS: Question - what type of needle is usually used to pierce a tragus? The one that was used looked funny.

    Edit:

    Here it is today:

Bump looks deflated and I have almost no crusties atm...but its more the hole that is my worry than the bump..:/

I'm pretty sure it's just sinking into the bump and not through the whole piercing. That would be extremely odd.

What do you mean by the needle being weird looking? There are cannula needles (with the plastic sheath around them) and blade needles (no sheath, just a follow needle).

Oh..the fact that it was round, like a hook. My conclusion is that a round needle creates a round canal and inserting straight jewelry would cause stress..
