successful (so far) chest microdermal by Carl at Bodz piercing in Chester
hiya! apparantly i wandered off and got lost a couple of months ago, but i return with tales of a really good piercers so i can be forgiven, yes?

so over the past few months i've lost almost about 10lbs and i was pinching the skin on my chest where it used to be too tight for a microdermal, and found that there was actually enough pinchable skin there to get one... so me and the bf (who wasn't the bf quite yet at the time) went from sitting in my uni room to on the train to Chester within about half an hour of realising this, and were booked in for 4:30 at Bodz piercing which I've heard a lot about and wanted to try for myself, and were also the cheapest at £35 for a microdermal... we arrived at 5:10 because we got lost but they were really nice and kept the shop open and waited for us even though they closed at 5
so in the piercing room Carl set everything up in front of me and was stood washing his hands for ages before he did anything, then he marked and re-marked where the microdermal would go until I was happy, and got me to lie down and breathe in and then breathe out sharply while he made the pockets for the microdermal, and I was amazed at how quickly he did it, it hurt but it was over before i really noticed. he had more trouble getting the microdermal itself in, and there was a lot of tugging and a massive crack when it went in but i was still impressed by how quickly he got everything done. He's also really chatty and friendly, as is the woman behind the counter who's name I can't remember.
he put on a clear dressing to leave on for 3 days, and told me to do one SSS when i take the bandage off and then to just leave it alone completely which I've done and its been there for about 2 months with no problems, barely any lymph and no signs of rejection. I think its almost healed but i'm not going to try changing the top or anything for a couple of months still. I was a bit worried because of how many people on here have had trouble with chest microdermals but Bodz seems like a good place and they've done a really good job
sorry about the crap phone pics
