A triangle piercing is pierced underneath the clitoral shaft, in the area between the clitoris and urethra. Triangle piercings do not actually pass deeper than the clitoris but just below it.
Ball closure rings and curved barbells can be worn in triangle piercings although most women wear a ball closure ring. This area receives a good blood supply and should heal well if kept cool and dry. Wear breathable, non-restrictive underwear and air the piercing when possible. If this piercing becomes infected it could lead to cystitis so any signs of infection should be treated immediately. We recommend abstaining from sexual activity until the piercing is completely healed. Clean with saline solution as needed and avoid swimming or submersion in water until healed - we recommend taking showers rather than baths.
Triangle Piercing Healing Time: 2 to 12 weeks
