Forward pinna piercings are located on the rim of the ear, at the top near where the ear joins the side of the head. They are also known as forward helix piercings. Most people can get this piercing but we advise caution if you wear glasses. The arms of the glasses may rub against a forward pinna piercing, causing irritation and poor healing. We recommend taking your glasses with you to the piercing studio.
Forward Pinna Piercing Jewellery & Aftercare
Ball closure rings, circular barbells and barbells can all be worn in a forward pinna piercing. This piercing should be cleaned at least twice daily with saline solution. Avoid swimming and submersion in water until healed.
