What is a Scaffold Barbell?
Scaffold barbells are designed to fit into the scaffold piercing, located at the top of your ear. The scaffold piercing is made up of two piercings in total, which are pierced in alignment with each other and connected from one end of the helix (rim of the ear) to the other, usually with a straight or curved barbell. Scaffold piercings can be worn more discreetly with two separate pieces of jewellery in each separate piercing.

Scaffold barbells are designed with a gauge (thickness) size of 1.6mm, the standard piercing size for the scaffold ear piercing. You can customize the threaded balls and accessories on your scaffold barbell by searching for threaded accessories with the same guage, simply replace the threaded balls on your scaffold barbell with funky accessories of your choice!
