The scaffold Piercing is made up of two or more separate rim (or cartilage) piercings that are joined by one barbell.
This procedure can be performed as separate piercings with separate jewellery and allowed to heal individually; but can also be fitted with one barbell depending on personal preference. The piercer should carefully mark and plan the piercing so the gauge is suitable for all the tissue it travels though. This piercing is most commonly performed as a standard 1.6mm gauge.

These scaffold barbells come in two sizes only, some designs in 36mm length, and some in 39mm length. Please ensure that your piercing will fit the available length (just measure the distance between your two piercings). You can also customize these barbells by choosing any of our 1.6mm Threaded Accessories, for a really funky and unique finish to your piercings.
